30 Point Inspection and Tune-Up
Our technicians will:
Garage Door
1. Visually check spring(s) for damage.
2. Visually check spring mounting pad for cracks or splits. (Torsion system only)
3. Adjust, if necessary, and lubricate springs.
4. Visually inspect the condition of each door section.
5. Inspect door alignment.
6. Inspect and lubricate rollers. (except nylon rollers)
7. Inspect and tighten all hinges and hardware.
8. Lubricate all bearings.
9. Inspect and test locks for proper operation.
10. Inspect stop molding for wear or damage.
11. Inspect astragal for wear or damage.
12. Inspect all cables and sheaves for wear or damage.
13. Inspect torsion tube. (Torsion system only)
14. Inspect door track.
15. Run door up and down several times to ensure proper operation.
16. Test manual release handle.
Garage Door Opener:
17. Inspect opener bracing for solidity.
18. Perform UL 325 Safety Non-Contact Reverse Test
19. Perform UL 325 Safety Contact Reverse Test.
20. Visually and audibly test for proper operation.
21. Adjust up and down force sensitivity, if needed.
22. Tighten drive chain/belt, if needed.
23. Lubricate drive train and sprockets.
24. Check wiring and connections.
25. Set up and down limits, if needed.
26. Remove cover and inspected internal gears and belts.
27. Check transmitter and wall station for proper operation and range.
28. Check and replace (up to 2) keypad and transmitter batteries, if needed.
29. Check and replace opener light bulbs (up to 2), if needed.
30. Check and adjust, if needed, photo-eye alignment.
If anything does not pass inspection you will receive a detailed description, but there is not obligation to buy anything.
